FlamingText.com is committed to providing you with the best and easiest to use graphic resources on the net. Founded in 1999 by David Bonnell and Cameron Gregory, the site quickly grew to the largest of it's kind in the world. FlamingText has not been improved in previous years but 2010 has changed that! David is no longer with us, but we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Cameron has been developing software on the net since 1993. While at AT&T, he was the lead developer on SystemX, which was one of the first true web based applications. It was originally developed for Netscape 1.1 and deployed on Netscape 2.0. He wrote the original version of the javadoc frames version, and worked closely with Sun to develop the current version. In the past he has reviewed many Java books, and is acknowledged in the official Sun book: Java 2, Advanced Features (and others). From 2005-2009 he was the CTO and co-founded the research and development arm of a US company (BQuotes). He grew the team from 1 person to more than 40 in 2009. The company was sold for an undisclosed sum to Moody's corp in Jan 2008, and then to Warburg Pincus in Oct 2009 (Benchmark). Cameron left Benchmark in Dec 2009 to form the start-up company that is FlamingText.com. |
